Rasmussen College Hires Local Talent to Fill Key Roles

WAUSAU, WI, (December 2, 2009) – Rasmussen College announced today the recent addition of two local Marathon County residents hired to fill key positions at the college’s campus in Wausau, Wisc. The higher education provider welcomes Joy Henrich as its new Academic Dean and Jeneen Willemssen as Librarian. The Wausau campus is the 17th Rasmussen location nationwide and the second in Wisconsin. It began accepting students in November 2009.
“We look forward to the addition of two eager and dedicated professionals to our team,” Wausau Campus Director Sue Williams said. “As our local workforce continues to be affected by the economic downturn, we are grateful to have the opportunity to welcome professionals from the local communities to the Rasmussen campus in Wausau.”
As the new Academic Dean, Joy Henrich will work collaboratively with the Rasmussen administration to ensure high quality instruction in a safe and engaging learning environment. She is a qualified addition to the Rasmussen team with more than six years of teaching experience at the college level and a Master’s degree in Management from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee. Henrich joins Rasmussen following more than two years as a Human Resource Manager for AROW Global Corp. in Mosinee. Originally from the Wausau area, Henrich currently resides in Rothschild with her husband. They have two grown children.
Jeneen Willemssen brings a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and more than seven years of full-time experience as a librarian, amongst? a variety of related experience, to her new role as Librarian for Rasmussen College in Wausau. Most recently, Willemssen was a librarian and houseparent at Conserve School, an independent, college-preparatory boarding school in Land O Lakes. She resides in Eau Pleine, Wisc., with her husband.
