Fargo/Moorhead Organizations Team Up to Help the Less Fortunate During the Holidays

Fargo/Moorhead (N. Dak.) — The leadership training and civil organization of the United States Junior Chamber, commonly referred to as the Jaycees, is teaming up with local Fargo and Moorhead campuses of Rasmussen College as well as the 'Season of Hope' organization for a Christmas shopping tour for 100 local children.
The Christmas shopping tour is an annual event for the Jaycees, which provides underprivileged children with the opportunity to go holiday shopping for presents for their families with the money collected from donations made by local merchants.
Rasmussen College volunteers will be assisting children in the shopping and in the wrapping of the chosen gifts.
No stranger to community events, the Jaycees are very involved with community service in the area. Over the last few years, they have been involved in raising tens of thousands of dollars, with thousands of hours of service in the community, and raising several tons of food for the Great Plains Food Bank.
