Fargo/Moorhead (MN) — The popular health facility Anytime Fitness is among local organizations joining forces with Rasmussen College in a move to provide students with job shadowing options for students to gain real world professional experience.
The Anytime Fitness organization realizes the value of personal training and of Rasmussen College students, and it is joining the handful of local workout facilities partnering with the Moorhead, MN college campus of Rasmussen College School of Allied Health Exercise Science.
Students graduating from the Exercise Science program offered will graduate from the seven quarter program with a certification from the American Council of Exercise (ACE), which is a certification allowing one to be a personal trainer, as well as one of the many qualifications graduates of the program will have.
With a portion of the requirement for the seven quarter course being a job shadowing program, this means many more opportunities for students to complete their Associate's degree program.
The Rasmussen College Exercise Science program is taught in a typical classroom setting half- time, with the remainder of the course taking place on-site in the Rasmussen exercise facility.
