Rasmussen College Announces New Campus in Minnesota and Prepares for Groundbreaking

Rasmussen College will be breaking ground at its eighth campus in Minnesota on Thursday, October 22 at 11:00 a.m. at its new location at 3629 95th Avenue North East in Blaine.
The 25,000 square foot campus is opening at a historic time—110 years after the founding of Rasmussen College -Minnesota. The new campus will open in the summer of 2010 and will provide Bachelor’s and Associate’s degrees to people in and around Blaine. The building will be a part of Blaine Preserve Park.
“Rasmussen College has a rich history in the state of Minnesota, and we are proud to be opening the Blaine campus,” President of Rasmussen College Kristi Waite said. “This new campus will enable Rasmussen College to better serve the fast growing north metro and its evolving education needs. We are continuing in our commitment to excellence in the state of Minnesota by providing a four year, regionally accredited higher education option to this area.”
The public is invited to attend the groundbreaking ceremony. Blaine Mayor Tom Ryan, leaders from Rasmussen College, and members of the Metro North Chamber will be in attendance.
