ST. PAUL (Minn.)—Rasmussen College is pleased to announce that Congressman Erik Paulsen will deliver the commencement address at the Rasmussen College graduation ceremony on September 19, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. held at Bethel University in St. Paul.
Representing Minnesota’s Third District in the U.S. House of Representatives, Paulsen is known for supporting political agendas that parallel the best that Minnesota has to offer, including job growth, a fairly-funded and accountable education system, a well-preserved environment and safe communities.
“We are so excited to have Congressman Paulsen speak at this Fall’s graduation ceremony, Brooklyn Park Campus Director, Dwayne Bertotto said. “He is an outstanding member of our community, and we are honored to have him address students along with their family and friends,” he added.
Prior to his election to Congress in 2008, Paulsen served in the Minnesota House from 1995 to 2008 and has been recognized as Legislature of the Year and Outstanding Legislature as well as receiving Nature Conservancy’s Government Relations Award for environmental leadership.
