Mankato, MN - Rasmussen College, a private, career-education college, will be hosting a student appreciation and blood drive event at its Mankato Campus on Wednesday, August 16 from 9am-6pm.

Everyone in attendance will be served a complimentary lunch between 11am and 1pm, and will be eligible to win one of several door prizes.

In addition to the open house, Red Cross representatives will be on campus from 9am to 1pm collecting blood. Everyone who donates blood will receive a T-Shirt from the Red Cross.

Also, Rasmussen College is encouraging its students to bring a friend to class any day that week. All students who bring a friend will be entered into a drawing to win a prize.

"By introducing potential students to our classes and curriculum, we hope to show them that the Rasmussen educational experience is exceptional," said Doug Gardner, Mankato Campus Director. "Rasmussen has a lot to offer its students and the best way to show this is by opening our campus to anyone interested."

Anyone interested in becoming a student or learning more about Rasmussen College is welcome to stop by and are encouraged to participate in campus tours and lunch. Rasmussen College representatives will be on hand to answer any questions.

If you would like to attend the open house or donate blood, please stop by or call (507) 625-6556 and reserve a space. Rasmussen College's Mankato Campus is located at 501 Holly Lane, Mankato, MN 56001.
