Rasmussen College Honored in American Schools and University

National — Two campuses of Rasmussen College were selected to appear as Outstanding Designs in the 2008 American School and University magazine Education Interiors Design Showcase.
The Rasmussen College campus in Eden Prairie, Min. was honored with an award for outstanding interior renovations. The architects of the project were Paulsen Architects of Mankato, Min.
The Lake Elmo, Min. campus was honored with an award for outstanding student center/service area. Paulsen Architects also worked on the design of this campus.
The Educational Interiors Showcase in American School and University magazine is the premier competition honoring education interior design excellence. This year, the panel selected only 109 projects around the country to be recognized in this showcase.
Larry Waite is the Vice President of Real Estate for Rasmussen College, and he works closely with the architects on the development of the Rasmussen College campuses.
"Our students are the first thing we think of when we design a campus," Waite said in a recent interview. "It is integral to our mission to serve our students, and we do so by providing a facility with resources and a layout to meet their educational and social needs."
Rasmussen College is a private, regionally accredited college that has 15 campuses across five states. The college offers diverse degrees ranging from allied health to business to technology and design.
"No two campuses of Rasmussen College are the same," Waite said. "We meet the individual programmatic needs of the community, the technological needs of our students, and the design elements of our location. Our goal is to contribute to our communities by providing a versatile, efficient facility."
