Holiday (Fla.) — The Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) welcomed Rasmussen College of Pasco County to the organization and inaugurated its students chapter at a meeting held in Clearwater, Fla. on Thursday, May 21.
AITP is a professional association with more than fifty years of history. The partnership between AITP and Rasmussen College is a first for the College and it helps to bridge a professional gap between Pasco County and the Tampa Bay area.
The Rasmussen College student chapter will be a part of the Tampa professional chapter and will benefit greatly by the wealth of experience, networking, and guidance provided by the professionals in the association.
Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited, four-year, private college offers Master's, Bachelor's, Associate's degrees, and certifications in Information Technology through its School of Technology and Design and partnerships with leading universities. The School of Technology and Design includes programs such as Network Security, Web Programming, Database Administration, and Network Security and Forensics. The College also offers degrees in Game Simulation and Production and Digital Design.
The Rasmussen College campus in Holiday is only one of sixteen campuses. AITP and Rasmussen College anticipate building on the relationships with more student chapters across the Rasmussen College network beginning with the Green Bay, Wis. chapter.
