National Job Fair to Come to Local Community

Job seekers, career changers, and professionals interested in networking are invited to attend the National Career and Networking Fair on Thursday, June 11 from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. at all Rasmussen College campuses. Those who cannot go a Rasmussen College campus can attend the first ever Rasmussen College Online Career Fair on June 11 between 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Employers and business professionals will be available at each of the career fairs to talk about potential employment opportunities and for networking. This is the second national career fair that Rasmussen College has done this year.
"The first national career fair Rasmussen College hosted in January was a great success," Director of Career Services for Rasmussen College Tami Hanson said. "Many people who attended were able to find employment, and that was our goal."
The career fair is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring a resume and to dress professionally.
"We are trying to help people who are in a tough situation right now with this career fair," Hanson said. "As an institution of higher learning, our responsibility is to help our communities grow and succeed, and we believe that this career fair is a step in the right direction."
