Brooklyn Park (Minn.) — Rasmussen College in Brooklyn Park is inviting the community to celebrate a wealth of cultures during World Cultures Week in May.
The Diversity Enhancement Committee at Rasmussen College, Brooklyn Park is celebrating a World Cultures Week where community members can learn about the cultures of the world through food, fashion and cultural artifacts.
The following events are free and open to the community:
- Monday, May 18: Cooking Workshop-Learn how to create an easy recipe from a different country from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, May 19: Traditional Dress Day-Discover the dress and customs of different cultures
- Wednesday, May 20: International Cultures Display-Experience the world through cultural artifacts like drums, dolls, and clothing
- Thursday, May 21: Multicultural Potluck-Taste foods from around the world at 11:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
