Rasmussen College Gaming Students Attend Game Developers' Conference

Ten Rasmussen College students were invited to attend one of the largest gaming industry events worldwide, the 2009 Game Developers' Conference, in March.
All of the students are studying in the School of Technology and Design at Rasmussen College and were sponsored by the College to attend the event. The Game Developers' Conference is an event for game developers, visual media artists, interactive application programmers, and a variety of other computer-related professions that tied in direction with the programs offered through the Rasmussen College School of Technology and Design.
Hap Aziz, Director of the School of Technology and Design accompanied the students.
"The Game Developers' Conference was a wonderful opportunity for our students," Aziz said. "They were able to meet and network with industry professionals as well as with other aspiring designers and developers around the world."
The ten students were escorted by Aziz and James Alberts, a technology instructor from St. Cloud, Minn. The students came from around the country to meet for the San Francisco conference. Students were selected by Rasmussen College based on their academic records, portfolio of work, submitted essays, and interviews. The following students were very honored and appreciative to attend:
