BROOKLYN PARK ( Minn.) — The Rasmussen College Brooklyn Park campus will host an educational community event focusing on childhood health, nutrition, and safety on Wednesday, February 18 from 5:30 – 7:30 pm.

The event will feature seven informational booths, which current students of the Early Childhood Education program will run. Each booth will provide valuable health information centering on topics such as weather safety, nutrition, illness prevention, developmentally appropriate toys, and general child safety issues.

“This event will focus on enriching the lives of children,” Early Childhood Education Program Coordinator Tracy Tepley said. “As Early Childhood Professionals, we realize the importance of advocating for children. One key way of achieving this is through providing valuable health, safety, and nutritional information to all of those who are influential in a child’s life. This is what we are hoping to accomplish with this event.”

The event is free and open to the public. Pre-registry is suggested; however it is not necessary to attend. An early bird drawing will take place for those who pre-register, which can be done by calling the Brooklyn Park campus.

To receive any further information about the event, please call the Brooklyn Park campus at (763) 493-4500 or email Tracy Tepley at Tracy.Tepley@Rasmussen.edu.

The Brooklyn Park campus is located at 8301 93 rd Ave, Brooklyn Park, MN 55445.
